It had to be illegal to be this freezing. Sure, he’d been here long enough that he was kind of sort of almost used to the icy blast of Washington weather on his skin. But still. People obviously needed something hot inside their fragile flesh sacks to survive. For him, it was usually hot chocolate. But today it was coffee. Black, 3 shots of hazelnut and a double shot of caffeine for spice. He held another coffee in his other hand. Clearly, he was waiting for someone.

“I am not sitting here in this weather for any longer than I have to,” Sollux mutters to himself. “Couple more minutes and I’m drinking the fucker’s coffee and leaving.” It’s almost as if he doesn’t really expect him to show up. But kind of hopes that he does.
