This Captian is Unworthy
So, some of you may have heard of the the absolute travesty that Marvel is turning Captain America. I will keep this as spoiler free as possible but in short, it hurts my heart and this Captian does not deserve the name "Steve Rogers" and so, I did some research. Steve comes from Greek meaning "wreath, crown, honor, reward". A suitable replacement I found was Ulysses which is also Greek meaning "to be angry, to hate" Rogers is Germanic meaning "fame, spear" I went with the straight up word for shame in German, Schande. Because fuck it. He does not deserve the name Steve Rogers. I personally am calling him Ulysses Schande.
