ANYWAYYY, I stand by my assertion that some cast members (and by this I mean, everyone other than Jensen, here's looking at Jared and Misha, not to mention the very long list of everyone else) on this show are willing to spew whatever nonsense they need to try and make themselves relevant and make their characters seem the most important in the moment. And what Jared said is absolutely inaccurate, sickening and infuriating, but at the same time, I can't help but.... laugh, because it's just so blatantly the biggest pile of lies and stupidity???? I, of course, don't mean I'm laughing because what he's said is funny or accurate, because it is absolutely malicious and I am disgusted by his words, their nonsensicalness AND the toxic messages he's sharing; I mean I'm laughing because this is so clearly a desperate and petty attempt to upstage Jensen and Dean and have some kind of twisted revenge (which clearly backfired 🤷🏻♀️).
The finale tried to ruin the story as thoroughly as possible to bring it back to The Sam Show, which I think it's important to remember, it hasn't been since the earliest drafts of the pilot. That didn't work, and people cared more about Dean's ending, despite the script trying their damndest to deter that, so he went and made up lies about "the five year gap" and "Sam's heaven has no one else, not his wife, not his child, just Dean", to try and act like it was a fair ending, but ended up only making himself and Sam look even worse.
THEN both he and the real lead of the show got nominated for an award and he didn't win. Jensen was polite and gracious and included him in the award nonetheless, because he's just a good person and a supportive and kind friend, even to those who may not deserve it. Jared however, could not handle that and just be a good friend and congratulate him. Instead, jealousy and pettiness raised their ugly heads and he decided to say things that he knew would, albeit completely falsely, imply that Dean isn't important because he knows that the work Jensen has put into Dean all these years means a lot to him and this blow may hurt (although, I guess he didn't anticipate that this would just emphasize even more that Dean is and always has been so much more than what Jared and some of the writers wanted him to be). I suppose he also thought it a benefit that saying these things may just make him the hot gossip of the minute and I guess no publicity is bad publicity in some people's minds?
But unfortunately for him, we're on to him and his lies, so let's see how much deeper he can really dig himself and his character into this hole, because frankly, every time he opens his mouth, I think people see just a bit more of the kind of person he is and the insights he had going in while he played Sam
