CLOSED STARTER for @wsjaejoon.

Despite the seemingly never ending busy schedules for the duo, it was thankfully almost always possible for them to find a day where they had a little availability to see one another. There had been times where Taejoon had to cancel plans at the last minute and as much as it broke his heart to do so, he trusted that his baby brother understood and never took it personally. As a member of the industry himself, there would be times where Jaejoon would have to do the same.

Taejoon ventured out into the brisk evening air, a black mask covering the lower part of his face and a black ball cap atop his head. Phoenix’s dorm wasn’t far from his apartment building, but shortly after his commute started he had pulled his hood up to keep the light wind from touching his neck and ears.

( Okay, maybe it was a bit far, but Taejoon didn’t mind the walk, even if it was a little too chilly for his standards. )

His current, carefully curated, playlist was blaring through his AirPods, keeping his mind occupied until he reached his destination. Finding a spot to stand near the entrance, he leaned against the cool surface of the building, pulling his phone out of his back pocket to text his little brother.

with the amount of time that moonsik spent elsewhere, it was almost as if jaejoon had scored himself a room to himself amidst the chaos of the phoenix dorm. moonsik’s side of the room acted moreso as storage. his closet was stuffed, clean clothes overflowing into an unfolded pile scattered about on moonsik’s bed. once, maybe two a week, the small boy would wander into their shared room out of nowhere and simply crawl under his pile of clothes and fall asleep without a word. 

when moonsik came home, it was usually late so he would opt to sleep on the couch in the living room to avoid the chance of waking his roommate. however, most of the time he prefered to catch his few hours of sleep cramped up on the couch in the tiny room he called his studio.
