Embellishments.
Yes, we were at NIFT to enhance the embroidery skills of the students at National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore.
It was conducted by Lloyd Robert, a well known designer and embellishment worker. It started off with Lloyd telling students about the ethos of hand embroidery and how he started off as a cutting intern at Kachans, Mumbai.
Then, the actual workshop of basic knots and techniques were explained. Lloyd plans to do one more of such workshop in NIFT and Querate will organize it.
