You mean likeĀ āpeace, love and understandingā or are we going for something less global and more specific to my blog? Or am I totally over thinking this?
1) OK, Iām going to count Groffchele and all things Spring Awakening OBC-related as one thing (which would include Glee and all of Lea and Jonās projects). That should be no surprise to anyone whoās seen my blog, but I really do love Broadway and live performance.Ā
2) Running - No, Seriously. Endorphins are perfect, wonderful things and runningās healthy, so whereās the downside? Well, I guess you could run in front of bus or something...Ā
3) Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Comedy Central will never be the same...:(
4) Creative people who are enthusiastic, engaged and paying attention; people who care and feel no need to hide that. People who arenāt afraid to express an opinion and back it up.Ā
5) (I was going to listĀ āPeace, love and understandingā or maybe even just fluffy puppies and kittens here, but seriously - shouldnāt those things make everyone happy? If weāve really gotten to a place where any significant percentage of the population just hates peace, love, understanding and puppies and kittens then we better all start binge watching The Walking Dead because the Zombie apocalypse is upon us. )Ā
So instead Iāll be super-nerdy and admit this: Voting makes me happy. Seriously. When you consider it, itās pretty incredible that we get to hire and fire our president and our congress and our legislators, etc. What makes me sad is that more people donāt do it.(Yes, Leslie Knope also made me happy.)Ā
