#wrong route

"Who knows? I don't even know. Maybe just to rot away here and all that pointless stuff." There wasn't anything that interests him anymore, after all.

So a really interesting thing happened today. I took bus 853 to parkway parade. For those who don't know 853 only runs from upp east coast terminal on Sundays. On other days, it starts at Kallang. It is suppose to turn left at the junction between Bedok South Ave 1 and Upp East Coast Rd. Erm but it didn't. For this left turn like many left turns in singapore, the left turn is right before the junction. Once u stop at the junction you cannot turn left anymore. So the bus stopped at the junction intending to go straight. I thought to myself, maybe I remembered the route wrong. Then the female Chinese bus driver turned back and asked me if she was supposed to have turned left. Laughing out loud, I replied, "yeah I think so!" She said, "but its too late now eh" I decided that since I know the route I can bring her back on Marine Parade Rd. I remembered bus 13 also took this route and turned at a junction further down. I said," yeah but I know the route I can bring you back to the correct route. There is a left turn junction in front that can be taken by buses too. I will tell you once we reached." So the video was basically what happened after that. Then you can see we took the left turn followed by the right turn onto Marine Parade Rd. I know this was a Sunday only route so the driver probably wasn't too familiar. I asked her if she was new to the route. She said she learnt it before but it was the first time driving it herself. And she normally started her journey at Kallang. I hoped she got the rest of the route to Kallang right since I got off at Parkway Parade.

Application: Do I take a conscious decision to believe what God speaks through His word and His servants? Am I aware of the consequences of not heeding to His Word?
