Well, Nico's day had completely and utterly gone to shit. What a surprise. He had been so goddamn close to finding his sister, to seeing her again, to making everything okay. Gods, he needed everything to be okay, just for a few minutes, because he didn't even know what to do with himself anymore. But of course, he couldn't have gotten that for anything. She had been reborn, and really, he couldn't blame her. But he missed her anyways.
Now, he was wandering throughout the Underworld, not entirely sure of his next course of action. He had ideas, of course, half formed plans, but he didn't even want to think about them. They didn't seem real anymore, not even vaguely. So he trudged on through the only place he had some bit of control, some bit of anything. Even then, he didn't have any company.
Somehow, though, a girl caught his eye. She was dead, of course, and looked quite a bit different from him, not the type of person most people would look at and instantly assume 'half-sister.' But hey, Nico wasn't exactly most people. Besides, the whole half part had to come into play somewhere. He walked over to her, skirting through the crowded Fields, and reached out, resting his hand on her shoulder.
