Peter hadn’t really been thinking as he swung home from the newest crime scene. He’d been thinking of home, planning on going back to his own apartment. He’d seen a familiar building and was too tired to question whether it was his or not. He swung right into a closed window by mistake, not recalling leaving all his windows shut when he’d left that morning. A quick head shake to push away some of the grogginess then he was sliding the window open and crashing on the couch, pulling his mask off in the same moment. 

By the time she’d reached the first apartment on the list, her hands were clammy and she’d been fiddling with her sleeves so much that the ink was starting to rub off. If she didn’t have luck at this one, she’d have to start going down the halls until she found it. Gretchen cleared her throat before knocking on the door. “Spinelli? You in there?”
