Alright alright, let’s headcanon out Filippo’s “solo” weekend.
Well number one it was so not solo. Hell no. But it also was kept on the DL. See what had happened was, Fillipo is nothing if not tenacious. And once he gets a thought in his mind, it’s hard to pull him away from it. Elia Santini is one of those thoughts. So, with all of his charm, he orchestrated a meeting with Marti’s boy squad.
And then he met Elia. and Elia was— perfect. In a way that he hadn’t expected in a million years when all he had wanted to do was get the kid out of his mind. So Filippo exchanged numbers with him. And then they began to text. And texts turned into coffee. Friendly at first– it turns out they have a shit ton in common (take away the boy-ish humor and Elia is much sharper than Filippo ever expected. And he knew quite a bit about politics and movies, and offered advice on some of the kids Filippo worked with at the LGBT shelter.)
And coffee turned into a quick dinner after Filippo got off work on Friday. And then dessert. And then an offer to smoke at Elia’s because his uber religious parents weren’t home for the weekend and Elia had been stocking up his weed in celebration.
And then… well. It turned into something else entirely. Something unexpected, considering Filippo had almost mournfully gotten over the fact that Elia was probably completely straight. Something new.
Too new though. New enough that both Elia and Filippo agreed, while they were intertwined in Elia’s sheets, that they should just… see where it goes. Without the pressure of people knowing and expecting things.
So no, that “solo” weekend was the furthest thing from solo.
