nate / aster — nate dislikes almost everyone instantly because he doesn't trust them but giving him a cute little barista to care about? aster would never have to worry about not standing up for himself because nate would be there instantly ready to threaten anyone who dares to raise their voice at him for the coffee not being hot enough! honestly it'd probably be how they met when he does not believe in rich assholes getting to be rude to servers. i just think the sweet arty guy and grumpy guy who thinks the whole world sucks but would do actually anything for him vibes could be impeccable. lincoln / evelyn — this is such a cliche but they just have the strongest opposites attract potential when linc has never been able to follow a rule in his life and doesn't understand how someone can settle down in some mundane 9-5 job. they probably wouldn't understand each other but they'd be so good for each other. and the potential for some sort of went to school together and were each others worst nightmare vibes? then reconnecting. idk i can see it being great. juke / eunji — just two video game loving idiots ready to stand up to the world no matter what. they're so similar i can see them being besties ( besties who share an adopted cat? or twenty? because juke saying no to cute animals in need is also never going to happen ) always ready to get into some mess because someone needs help. plus any version of friends to lovers i will sell my soul for so...

tonight was meant to be a fun night for zoey but it was starting to feel a little bit depressing. she was a concert, seeing one of her favourite bands live, zoey was meant to come with a date but they'd dumped her. now she was awkwardly sitting in the front row on her own.
