the newsflesh trilogy (feed, deadline, blackout) because those are some deeply upsetting zombie novels. very, very good, I highly recommend them, but wow emotions

dairy queen because itās about a girl playing football and itās light and very sweet and not at all upsetting like everything else in the list really perfect summer reading
