Dear ▉ ▉ ▉ ▉ ▉,
It has been raining for the last 17 days. Today, however, the sun decided to appear in the sky. Since I’ve been searching for a reason to send you a letter, I took the weather as a sign to get it done and hope it is a good enough reason.
I promised to myself a few days ago that when the rain finally stopped, I would go outside and take my dog on a walk (or go ride a bike). Unfortunately, I’ve done none of that. Instead, I spent my day wearing too-warm pajamas and painting the eyes of someone looking at the sun, even though I myself haven’t looked at it even once today. Funny, isn’t it?
I hope your travels are going well and that you didn’t miss your last flight, as you’ve done multiple times before. Things here at home are going just the same day-to-day life, but I am sure you miss it regardless, don’t you? You have always been too nostalgic for your own good, always imagining the day when you weren’t going to have it the same anymore.
Did you make new friends from all around the world as you said you would? Because if you did, I want you to introduce me to them. I hope they find me interesting enough since they must have seen so much of the world already and met so many people. Well, you met a lot of people too, and you still write to me just the same, so my hopes are up.
Hope you’re having a sunny day!
With love, your friend on the day this letter was sent.
