AuthorLifeMonth2020 . Day 13: Writer Friends . As we all know, writing can be a VERY solitary existence. Because of this I am so grateful that I have people in my life who get it. Writer friends who understand the pain of churning out a first draft. The sting of a rejection. The joy of celebratory news. I was taking off books last night to make room for my Christmas decorations, and lo and behold! I found a lot of books from my Florida writer friends. We find our bible study on Jesus versus/ greater than religion with our Sunday School class. That meant the long chore of finding something new. After five seconds of scrolling Amazon, we stumbled upon a study based on my mother's favorite book. And can you pass up a study based on a C.S. Lewis book? I love the friendship between C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. I love their books. And I love that The Screwtape Letters is dedicated to Lewis' friend.
