Yes you can participate in the fandom as casual fans and comment and talk about it in general, and every ounce of effort is appreciated

BUT please, for the love of God, making fanarts, edits, and fanfics take A LOT of work and effort and time

Do you even leave well-constructed comments under every chapter? Do you reblog, retweet and praise the artist regularly? Do you respect their boundaries and talent and time and effort???

Trying to say this without spoiling anything... but, in my head, nobody knows Charity’s bombshell piece (re: age) until Vanessa finds out. But that’s not the case in the versions I published on AO3 and every time I remember that is what is being read... it makes my skin crawl.

I want to just take it all down and repost it with it all fixed and whole and perfect, but it breaks my heart to imagine losing all those hits and kudos and comments. The greatest joy of writing this story has always been the feedback.
