Just played around in Canva with some covers for the Medi Love series and I’m pretty happy with them! Kokoro might change but yeah! Oxytocin used to be a blue cover but I couldn’t do the same with Vena Cava so I just went with black and white which fits even better cause that’s the color I associate the series with anyway.

Y'all, the amount of "I'm a book editor/beta reader interested in your works" scammers and bots on this platform is mind-boggling. I've gotten six or seven followers who all fit the profile: nondescript stock or AI pfp (usually a rose or glasses sitting on an open book), vague wording during messaging, no original posts (or if they ARE original, it's something obviously spewed out by an LLM). They send me a message, asking to look over this thing or edit that thing. Like, no thanks, ChatGPT 🙄
I have part-time alpha and beta readers who help occasionally with big boo-boos (who I know IRL). But other than that, I simply don't trust people anymore. Not to mention that, at this point, it almost feels better to leave my organic human mistakes in so people can't accuse me of writing using AI - because my writing style is, unfortunately, very AI-adjacent.
It's so gross trying to take advantage of somebody's hobby for personal gain. And it's only getting harder to discern the real fans from the assholes. Just like the "I love your fic and would like to make some art for you" scammers on AO3 that pretend to be real readers before showing their hand and asking for money.
