Season 2 episode 5

I decided to give you guys all the visual info for the notable characters from the latest episode (and a few random details I thought might help with their vibe). Please let me know if you have more to add or spelling corrections and let's have some fun! ^_^

If any of yall create art or a story using what I did here, for gods sakes tag me or shoot me an ask/PM so I can see it! I love everything yall create, but not everything shows up in the Fantasy High tag, so I would love to get the opportunity to see things I would miss otherwise ^_^

Jamina Joy

Alternate spellings for name: Jaminna, Jamyna, Jamynna, Jemina, or a nickname for Benjamina

War forged: Living automaton made of stone and rusted steal and wood

8.5 feet tall

Right eye is gleaming bright latern eye (sort of a golem magic robot look) and left eye is short circuited with visible tungsten wire (that would normally be lit) is frayed. The working eye makes a sound and (combined with Brennan's hand movement) appears to be able to zoom and/or scan.

Right hand has 3 stone fingers that close like a claw (Brennan's hand movement indicates the movement is similar to a claw machine) and left hand is a four barrel rotating cannon.

Tri-clawed "feet" (more robotic than human approximations)

Long blue captain's coat, dirty white normal sailor's shirt (under her coat), striped pants (no color given) that go down to her "feet"

Deep husky voice (inhale or growl sound before she starts talking each time).

No approximation of a heart or thing that beats. "In my chest of stone and wood, there beats no heart to keep in time."

No knowledge of Solace, it's tech, or it's culture.

Alester Ash

Alternate spellings for name: Alistair, Alastair, Alistair, Aleister, Allister, Alister, Alester, and Alaister

Teenage tiefling (Brennan said he looks young many times and sometimes called him a kid, so probably younger than the group)

Bright red skin with a tail and cloven hooves

Malnourished, scrawny, clean shaven (or just hairless)

Scarf and jangly jewelry

Said it was rumored that he was descended Geryon (deposed former lord of the Fifth circle of hell) on his mother side and Dispater (lord of the second circle of hell) on his father's side

Was a street urchin and can't read.

Currently a warlock (due to Bill Seacaster's patron pyramid scheme) with low intelligence (and probably low on wisdom too), but decent charisma.

Nonbinary half-orc aasimar

Descendant of "risen devils" called Za-zhear-ee (closed captioning spell it Zajiri)

Muscular and tall

Sides and back of head is shaved with a flop of black hair on top

Whites of eyes are black, irises are shimmering metalic gold, and pupils are black. Their irises can spiral when they examine things.

Top surgery scars disguised with geometric celestial tattoos

Thin line geometric tattoo work around their wrists and biceps

Floral tattoos on their midsection with some sharp leaves

No shirt, fabric heavy harem pants, and fine boots with a myriad of belts and straps

A little metalic silver accent makeup on their lips (gesture makes it seem like it's a line in the center) and a little around their eyes.

Massive two-handed scimitar (kept on their back) with gold rings stamped into the back of the blade, the sharp edge on the curve and rings jangling on the back of it.

Sexually? Yes.

Zajiri are risen devils of the orc pantheon that represent everything in life that is soft, wonderful, beautiful, pleasurable, and pleasing. Like holy succubi who tempt orcs away from the ways of their god. "The job is to fuck people into being decent basically."

Underdark humanoid with squid-like face, beady eyes, and tentacles that come out of his face (one with a peg leg) that hide his beak

He eat brains, drinks mead, hates Bill Seacaster, hates Fabian, and thinks there should be a pirate king

Random racist dwarf with double braided beard covered in firecrackers (about an hour in the stream) which Fig disguised herself as.

Adaine: Put on a tricorner hat (but is still in her normal clothes)

Gorgug: Got a huge tin flower tattoo on his right arm at the shoulder. Also some Zajiri celestial runes on his right forearm

Fig: Pain and pleasure tattooed in Zajiri celestial runes. Edit: @daxina pointed out that Fig may have gotten the tattoos on her wrists as that was where she originally intended to get the tattoo, but she also pointed to her knuckles during the part when getting the tattoo, so it's unclear which is correct at this time.

Kristen: Neck tattoo of Tracker's name on the right side of her neck.

Tracker: Neck tattoo of Kristen's name on the right side of her neck.

Riz: All the clues he's found so far during the current investigation given to a tattoo artist. Most likely all text, but not confirmed. The words "Night Yorb" as a chest piece (unknown if other words were also put on his chest). Other clues on his shoulders. Said if they ran out of room to use his back. Edit: @mellowyall discovered that Riz got Garthy on his right inner forearm (held up his arm at a right angle with his palm forward and pointed towards the inner area of his forearm, same area as brachioradialis muscle). As Riz mispronounced the name as Gardy/Guardy, it may or may not be misspelled. Murph also motioned to his lower neck as well as his chest, shoulders, and forearm during the scene where he mentioned his forearm tattoo, so that might be the extent of the area for his tattoos.

I decided that I needed to post a more detailed description of Cathilda Ceíli, but as I currently can't edit my post with multiple characters on it (due to spotty internet), I decided to make a new post. As always, if you see a mistake or know something that could be added to it, let me know! ^_^

Physical Description

Fair skinned halfling with brown eyes

Around 3 feet tall (91cm), ranging from 2'8"/81cm to 3'2"/97cm (using the female halfling formula of 30in+2d4). This means, she's the shortest in the group, being a foot shorter than Riz and almost exactly half the height of Fabian.

Caramel blond hair (hex around #d4ba55 and close to a color called Vegas Gold)

Talked about doing a dip dye ombre affect (color not given) by Fig once they boarded Leviathan, but never happened

Length wise, her hair probably hits around her shoulders when down (due to her short ponytail) and appears to be layered as well (due to the look of the hair near her face in the official image)

Light freckles across her nose and cheeks.

She probably has hair on top of her feet like most halflings

By process of elimination (using both the basic types and the types listed on Forgotten realms), Cathilda is most likely a lightfoot halfling. The decription fits her well enough, especially with her given hair length (kept shoulder length or shorter) and her constant mirthful, friendly light-hearted attitude (which could be genuine or a facade to lull people into a false sense of security depending on the situation). This would give her a +1 to charisma and the naturally stealthy ability (you can attempt to hide even when you are only obscured by a creature that is at least one size larger than you). This is only one possibility though, so watch for if she's poison resistant (stout) or uses short range telepathy (ghostwise). There are others, but they don't fit for multiple reasons.

Outfit 1 (before ep 2): Maid uniform

Outfit 2 (ep 2-7): Light grey "very comfortable looking" sweatshirt and sweatpants, chunky white tennis shoes, and an aerobic sweatband (thank you @plutosfury for looking that up for me!). Athletic band under her swearshirt holds 2 daggers

Outfit 3: Seven league boots, black dress with a high white collar (like a widow in mourning), and black tri-corner hat. Fights with a pair of dark steal sabers (scimitar type swords).

Fun Facts

Was known as Cathilda The Black; Terror of the Celestine Sea

She left the pirate life to become a (very well paid) maid for the Seacasters

Was married a long time ago to a (now dead) terrible man

Had children who are also dead

Seems to love Fabian like a son, and is always kind to him

Became Fabian's sparing partner after his father's death

Went against Hallariel's orders to give Fabian half rations

Believes she has done more good for herself and others as a maid making cookies than she ever did as a pitrate

Extremely ingenuitive and clever, doing things like baking cookies on the engine of a moving Van

Under her kind exterior, she is a deadly whirling dervish dancer of such infamy that the sight of her had Jamina Joy and a deck full of pirates take a knee out of fear for their lives. She was able to protect a trancing Hallariel from waves of enemies by herself until Fabian arrived and also mowed down pirates with Sandra Lynn when they attacked Van, kicking ass on the ground while Sandra Lynn was flying on Baxter

When she is fighting in outfit 2, you can hear her tennis shoes squeaking against hard floors like someone playing racquetball

As a halfling, she would have a +2 dex, 25 movement, lucky (allows for one reroll if a d20 lands on a nat 1), brave (advantage on frightened saving throws), and halfling nimbleness (can move through the space of a creature that's medium or larger). She would also know common and halfling (although I wouldn't be surprised if she knew some elven from Hallariel and the basics of a few others from her travels).

Rolands

Ancient hunched over pirate with long gray beard, thick sash, long rings on spindly fingers, tri-corner hat, and a holster at his side with a spellbook chained and buckled.

Wizard and a whisper of a man who works the desk at the Compass Points Library

The massive tome at his side has a jolly rodger on it and says "Here be pirate spells" scrawled in red ink.

The spells within his book can only be conjured by the most powerful pirate wizards (including turning 5 parrots into a banana and 10 bananas into a gold coin). Has eaten two parrot and eight bananas made from parrots.

Turned Fig into a horned parrot and states that he commands the 7 winds and the 9 stars, learned the secrets of the deep, can summon the ancient krakens of seas long gone, that spirits of wind and wave will answer his call, but reduced to bones if you take his book.

Has to be put back together by Ayda more than once as taking his book and immediately returing it doesn't automatically put him back together the right way. 

Ayda Augefort

Mistress of the Library, Quartermaster of the Knowledge of Leviathan, and head librarian at Compass Points Library.

Divination Wizard

She is a 6 to 7 foot tall resplendently beautiful half phoenix woman with a strinking resemblance to Arthur Augefort (how!?).

She has 2 foot long yellow talons (that are almost metallic gold) from the knees down and digitigrade ankles, wings that start at deep red and change into orange as you approach the edge and eventually yellow that flicker like flame at the edge of the wing, human arms covered in orange rune tattoos, a short ploom-like shock of short red hair and eyes with pupils, but are otherwise roiling balls of flame

Dressed in white linen pants with a pirate's sash on them, a vest (no color given), 2 scrolls in her bandolier, and a leather harnesses that would normally have guns, but carry 2 small books strapped under each arm.

Naps on a perch with her wings wrapped around her.

"Yes, when it comes around, my mother is a full phoenix She's an adult most of the time and becomes a kid every so often. It's complicated. If you're weirded out by it, join the club."

Always scribbling notes in her book and asking questions. Socially awkward, curious, paranoid, very honest, and takes most things literally. Fast jerky head movements and squawks at the end of her laugh.

Admits that her father lies often. Found it unlikely that he would ever speak of her, but found it moving. Told them to tell her father whatever they want as it was no concern of hers.

Sells the party a modified sending spell for pirates where curse words and swears don't count against the 25 word limit and willing to sell other wizard spells to them for 50 gold per level.

Finds the group bothersome but is transfixed by their strangeness.

Thinks Gorgug could be the greatest wizard of this age due to being a clean slate unburden by study. She forbids him from ever reading a single word of wizardry to keep his mind like the serene lake unburdened by study. Says that Gorgug is beautiful to her.

Thinks Adaine is the other greatest wizard of their age. Desperately wants a friend and bonds with Adaine. Showed emotion when Adaine handed her Boggy. Her eyes went wide and she showed excitement at the idea of him having a backpack.

Elves from Fallinel: 3 beautiful elves in long flowing robes surrounded by motes of silvery white light. At least 1 has a will-o'-wisp in their ear that is used to communicate.

Boggy: Got a backpack

Fabian: no letter jacket, very sick, and very shaken, but at the end of the episode he has his sword and eyepatch back.

Cathilda: full outfit change and is now wearing seven league boots, black dress with a high white collar (like a widow in mourning), and black tri-corner hat (WE NEED NEW OFFICIAL ART!). May or may not have gotten her shoulder length hair dip dyed for an ombre effect.

Note: Kear is the spelling I've settled on for the elven maiden as it works for both pronouncations I've heard (key-air and khear). I realized that the closed captioning spelling of Kir might be incorrect after noticing an incorrect one last night. On a side note, this took many hours to write out, but I loved this scene so much! I hope it comes in handy for yall ^_^

Kear: *smiles as she hits her staff on the floor twice and walks up to Adaine* We have discovered I believe as much useful information as we can from gleaning your thoughts and I wanted to come in one last time before we make an assessment of what is to be done. Um, your father wised to have a word with you. If he could. *smiles and leaves*

Anguin: (in elvish) Adaine. You... you can't honestly believe that there is anything to be gained by your stubbornness. I don't...You've made it crystal clear that you do not think very highly of me. I can assure you that though I have made decision that you do not agree with, I do not want to see my daughter executed for treason.

Adaine: (in common) You don't want to see me... executed for treason but you're keeping Aelwyn tortured and alive?

Anguin: How is Aelwyn being tortured? She's proven herself a threat. She can't be allow to regain access to her spells. She's not being harmed or injured.

Adaine: She... has... it... *crosses her arm and goes silent in frustration*

Anguin: Do your see she's bleeding out on the floor? Is there a torture rack that her bones are being broken on?

Adaine: How am I being treasonous? I didn't ask to be the Elven Oracle.

Anguin: No Adaine you didn't ask, but occasionally some people see fit to execute their responsibilities-

Adaine: Show me in the law book whewhere it says that me staying in Solace is treason.

Anguin: You know-

Adaine: I demand a lawyer!

Anguin: Well I'll bring that to The Court of Star. This is not some higgledy-piggledy democracy with (air quote) an encoded constitution of laws and rights (air quote). This is a civilized nation governed by seven immortal dancers who exist of a spindle and sing to the various phases of the moon, Adaine. So if you want to ask one of them to stop their immortal singing to get you (air quote) a lawyer (air quote), they will conjure up some kind of... I don't know tree spirit okay?

Adaine: I curse you in the name of the seven seas and in the face of the Moon and in the shining of the stars and in the brightness of the Sun. I curse you. You are not my father!

Anguin: *dismissively* Well, those are very hurtful words and I'm sure if you had and spells slots left I would be very worried about that.

Adaine: *casts Tasha's Hideous Laughter*

Anguin: Ha ha ha. Ow! My face! It doesn't do this.

Kear: Ah. Mr. Abernant. You've... humiliated yourself. *so looks to Adaine and opens her mouth*

Adaine: I demand a lawyer!

Kear: Very well. I shall bring that-

Adaine: I'm a minor! I'm underage. In prison.

Kear: *squints at Adaine before looking up at Anguin while casting despel magic on him*

Anguin: So a lawyer is basicly somebody who... ah... they sort of they use a hidden language... to prevent state actions from happening to people-

Adaine: I demand to see the ambassador of Solace!

Kear: *her expression gives away that it effects her* You are not a Solesian (Celesian?) citizen and so therefore-

Adaine: I am an underage student of the Augefort Adventure Academy.

Kear: *dismissively* Oh the Augefort-

*a loud trumpet sounds followed by a scarlet A*

*a hologram of Arthur Augefort appears*

Arthur Augefort Hologram: Hello! I am Arthur Augefort and if you are watching this message, one of my students has claimed-

Adaine: -he's a very serious man-

Arthur Augefort Hologram: -diplomatic need of my help in foreign affairs. *the same message is repeated in multiple languages* In this instance, you should know that this student has been apprehended unlawfully and in under the protection of not only my academic independence, but also the laws of Solace. If they are harmed or injured in any way, *his voice gets dark* RUIN will be brought down upon your heads NINE FOLD! *the screne zooms out to show him standing on a seaside cliff summoning storms* I shall bind you to the center of the Earth! I shall put you into the center of the Sun! I will summon one thousand thousand dragons to devour you for endless days and send your soul back to the dawning of time to live as a mote of worthless scum across vast eons! THE STUDENTS OF MY SCHOOL WILL NOT BE FUCKED WITH!!!

Adaine: *pumps her fist* Yeah!

*Two option appear with a ping*

Kear: *looks over at Adaine while reaching out, pressing no with a smug look on her face*

Arthur Augefort Hologram: Very well. You have chosen the way of pain. Goodbye.

Smiles and walks away once they have Adaine back at the tower

Kear

Pronounced key-heir or khear

Name spelling unknown, but Kir was the spelling on closed captioning

Extremely young child-like elven maiden with long brown braided hair and a white gown

Banished Tracker, but failed to charm Adaine during the battle

"You did a very noble thing. You saved your friends' lives."

Used detect thoughts on Adaine and asked "When was the last time you saw your mother?"

Aelwyn Abernant

Kept in large large beautiful elven chamber with silver and marble with ambiant light glowing from the white stone

Trapped inside a 15 foot diameter orb that's constantly turning so she can't trance

Stuck crawling on her hands and knees, shaking with the effort of it

Severely trance deprived (probably hasn't been allowed to for nearly a year) with thick bags under her eyes

5 levels of exhaustion with some kind of magic the only thing keeping her from death

James Wicklaw

Fought with his saber in right hand and the crown in left

Brought 8 crew plus himself to menace the party while the rest of his crew went into the row

Injures the crew with him in order to injure the party, stunning all but Cathilda, Sandra Lynn, and Riz.

Has legendary actions (attack and teleport out of initiative order), mind blast, and tried to eat Gorgug's brain

Shot by a pistol square in the stomach. After he goes prone, a horrifying blast of something in his gut goes off as he shutters and goes still. But it was a trick to get Riz close so he could shoot him point blank.

Gorgug got the killing blow on Wicklaw after Fig heavily damaged him. Wicklaw's body fell into the Row.

The other pirates killed Wicklaw's remaining crew after he died

Fabian

Lost champion subclass and lost all fighter class features while keeping proficiency bonus, base stats, and hit points

No coat and 2 levels of exhaustion

Took a single hand crossbow shot which missed and spent the rest of the fight stunned.

Was repeatedly shot by Wicklaw

Gorgug had a private talk with Fabian to try to help. So did Kristen. Then Gilear came up and threatened him Gilear for 250 gold.

Fabian's mother's family have lands near the tower Adaine is being kept.

Cathilda

Dark steal sabers (scimitar type swords)

"Time for talk's over." Then got a nat20 on Wicklaw and sliced off one of his tentacles.

Feels pure determination more powerful than James can feel hatred and protects herself from his stun

Can give allies a reroll as reaction

Kicks just... so much ass.

Took enemy to hell with hellish rebuke before she was knocked out. (Fig: Did you see when I dragged that guy to hell with me? / Sandra Lynn: Horrifying. You're wonderful.)

"Adaine I used my everything to try and save you!"

Got 1300 points (with no actual value) for her sick shredding with her skateboard in the Ruction.

Snatched the crown after Wicklaw was killed and skatboarded away. Wanted to take crown away from Leviathan so there will never be a king, but let Fabian put it back on the head in Gibity Square.

Captured Wicklaw's soul

Is suspicious of Cathilda because she is "too good to be true".

"Look, the nightmare king could be anyone but my six friends."

Got Wicklaw's crystal saber which is like touching a live wire, but also filled with hatred

Riz

*while hiding in the rafters* "Fabian no! Don't be a coward!"

Arquebus has 60 foot range and he has 30 speed

He was the perfect person to dodge fists in the Row (while conscious)

"I have such bad athletes. Truly, I have minus two strength."

Failed two death saves (from the pirates stomping him) when he was knocked unconscious (from a slash from Wicklaw) and fell into the Row. Called to Fabian to save him while unconscious.

Riz: Hey Fabian? I think we all saw this going a little bit more epicly, but Adaine is gone. She sacrificed herself to save us and it kninda shows that it's not the end. We gotta keep going. So, we didn't bring our A game this time, but we can still - it keeps going. You'll be the hero next time. / Fabian: Yeah the ball. Next time. Next time. / Riz: Who... Hoot Growl? Is that what we say when we get pumped?/ Fabian: Yes. We say hoot growl.

Riz to Ayda: I think I have a lot of friends sometimes but then everyone's mean to me.

Wanted to talk to Fabian in private after the battle, but didn't get a chance due to Gorgug, Kristen, and Gilear

Sandra Lynn

Battle command: let's an ally attack an enemy on her turn as a bonus action

Can heal

Shouldered Wicklaw away from Gorgug (saving him from having his brain eaten) causing them both to fall into Row.

Knocked unconscious in the Row after stabbed through chest by Wicklaw but then healed by Fig.

Tracker

Was banashed to a maze world for the whole fight

Helped heal the party then "healed" Kristen privately

Ragh

Finished 1 pirate and then stunned for part of the fight before he was able to get up and fight/help again

Gilear

Passed out in the van due to the airbag.

"Very well. I will go into the back of the van. If anyone needs me, I will be surprised."

Threatened Fabian for 250 gold after he was acosted by a man who said he would kill him unless he gave him 250 gold. ("You need to shut the fuck up because I'm a dead man unless I get 250 gold pieces. You're down here with me now all right? Your rich. I'm not. Help me. Please help me.")

Ayda

Joined party temporarily to save her friend Adaine

Offered to teleport everyone and created a firy orange rune to do it.

Smooth rounded marble flagstones are set into the garden

Look like a very zen meditative type of place.

There are high walls around the courtyard as well as towers.

"Orb rooms" (to keep prisoners in a constant state of trance deprivation) as well as regular rooms.

I decided to add a little something extra, so here are a few location descriptions. For the character descriptions, click below!

Compass Points Library

Massive bronze sextet governing the entrance to the library. Giant golden and wood towers. Various figureheads from ships that cover the place like a cathedral, but the spars and splinters of the ships they were taken from extend past them.

Like a Library of Alexandra in terms of cultural significance and wonders, but splintered and fractured because all of it had to be fought for and protected from drunken degradation of pirates that didn't have as active an interest in their own pirate culture.

Keeps track of the comings and goings of Leviathan.

Filled with stolen books, charts of the stars, maps of the sea and its currents, hidden friendship section (go with love me hearties), and an observatory.

The observatory is a massive wooden dome surrounded by arcane runework with a 60 foot massive guilded spyglass covered in filigree and fleur-de-lis (the size of an observatory's telescope).

The library gets more funding from the city government when people sign up for library cards (and double funding for invented personalities).

Library card has a compass that actually points to things. 

Ramble

Pirate government where all the eldest pirates gather to smoke, drink, and tell tales of the past.

People come to them for decisions similar to a courthouse and a decision would eventually come through their assembled wisdom

The Row And The Ruction

Massive wearhouse with two seperate fights going on.

The Row is a massive fistfight brawl on the sawdust covered and bloodstained floor. Has been in session for 150 years (with new people constantly coming in to keep the fight going). There is a bar for people to grab a drink before going back in.

The Ruction is a series boards and barrels hanging from a net about 20 feet above the Row and is where people use flintlock pistols, swords, and other weapons. Only in session when the fight gets rowdy enough for people to climb up to get to the weapons.

People aren't allowed to bring their own weapons into the fight. If someone does bring their own weapons, they have to keep them hiden while in the Row to keep people from ganging up on them to kill them.

Deep and ancient forests with trees with twilight bark that glow deeply in the presence of the setting sun. The trees grow 100 feet tall or more with straight trunks and no low hanging branches.

Stately pristine soft green grass forest floor without a single speck of trash, debris, brambles, or puddles.

Blossoms descend from high branches and float. Butterflies land on them and disappear in motes of magic.

An 8 point stately dear cries a single tear that turns into stardust before prancing into the forest

A woman standing in a vined archway in a diaphanous white gown has been dancing for 300 years.

Youths sing and do dance yoga with the morning light, some dancing with 40 to 50 foot long diaphanous silk scarves

They try very hard to get everyone to eat grapes

Ka-leth-re-el Tower

North of Khy-low Meh-new-rah by about a 4 to 5 hour hike

Was originally a place of mourning for the ancient widow Ka-leth-re-el after her husband died while going to war with the humans of Highcourt 500 years ago.

Beautiful courtyard with smooth rounded marble flagstones set into the garden. Look like a very zen meditative type of place.

High walls around the courtyard as well as the towers

"Orb rooms" to keep prisoners as well as regular rooms with beds

Whatever wizards or artificers built it didn't want to burn their own experience points/life energy, so they have raw elemental power pumping through the place

A lot of perminant magical effects

Elven doorways/archways (without actual doors) built with runes in the stone of the walls (Moon Doors) that allows mages from the Court of Stars to teleport there instantly if an alarm goes off, but otherwise doesn't have a bunch of elven mage guards on site

Walls glow with runes

Alarms go off when non-cantrip magic has been used, but ignores cantrips

Defended magically from all forms of arcane spellcraft. They are prepared for every magical eventuality, but would not "stoop so low" as to defend their fortress from someone hitting things really hard with an axe while mad... or being shot by a gun.

The Two Elemental Pylons

The power source of the perminant magical effects (including the moon doors) at Ka-leth-re-el Tower

Work similar to power stations only with magic running through them instead of electricity, meaning taking out the generator or transformer (only one of each?) would take out power to Ka-leth-re-el Tower (are the cables buried really deep making attacking them not possible or is there an alternate transmission method that avoids air friction? I'm sorry! My dad was a lineman XD).

Protected from any magical attack (but the archano-smiths would not have protected against physical attacks)
