THERE IS SOMETHING SENSUAL IN FAMILIARITY; it’s an every day notion & one that continues to catch the ceo off-guard. there is safety in routine; & he’s a sucker for it. he’s also a sucker for minimal public displays of affection. it’s unprofessional. or so he believes anyway. but yet , she continues to test him , continues to stray from his routine , even in front of the engineering & he can’t hold a grudge. so they continue to repeat the same behaviours. he skips lunch in order to continue his work down in the bays & she continues to bring it for him. emerald hues flicker to hers for a moment as he catches her enter the bays. this time / this time for sure he’ll be able to dodge it. softer features tug into a smile as he motions for her to leave it in the office hues trailing back down. but of course she doesn’t. instead she’s already closed the distance between them & eyes widen , hands raising as a warning , but it’s too late , her lips are upon his cheeks before he can argue ; & his features are already scarlet. hues drop, one hand raising to cover his cheek where the other had kissed him, fingers slowly beginning to rub at his now vibrant cheeks.
“ aww HECK, lassie. why’d yeh have te go an- do a thing like tha’ !!!!! ”
