Shade was looking over his notes when he felt a familiar shifting in his bones and realized that his Creator brought him somewhere. He hastily put his book away and stood, looking around.
In the distance was a human with blonde hair. They walked slowly, seeming to be looking for something. Then a name came to his mind.

He recognized the name. Euphie talked about her adoptive mother often, always telling him that she would like him. Perhaps now was the time to introduce himself to her. His creator had seemed to agree with him.
