it’s what everyone’s been waiting for - a female superhero movie, and not just for one female superhero, but for almost all of marvel’s female superheroes! set to release summer 2016, the movie has recently started filming and has already gotten a lot of hype from marvel fans and regular movie-goers alike! after a catastrophic war that disassembles the avengers and the universe, the only world left is the battleworld. isolated from the domains of the battleworld, lies a green and friendly island called arcadia - and the a-force is here to protect it. when a member of the team is imprisoned unfairly, the team goes through struggles to see how far they’re willing to go to save her - even if it means going against the law one of them helped create. the movie is featuring some known superheroes, and is also introducing more female superheroes you’re going to love! * means the character must be a poc. for characters not yet introduced in the mcu, click on their names to learn about them!
