And why?

I have been running Wrecker Wednesday on my own for a spell now and I saw your event here on Tumblr.

But... I read the rules and see there is some animosity for cloneship there (even though mature content seem to be accepted, which I assume to be het-pairings only?)

While most of my Wrecker tales are generic fic, I also write cloneship fics, so guess as a fanfic writer of such nature, I would be persona non grata to enter this event despite keeping things, well, generic for the entry fics?

The reason why I am asking, because there is a lot of hate for anyone daring to write the cloneship genre, no matter if this is all fiction in a galaxy far away and everything is tagged as they should be.

Sorry to ask this, but I just want to be perfectly clear as to what kinds of fics you are looking for.

Hello, thank you for bringing your concerns to us! We are glad you are one of the many that has helped keep Wrecker Wednesdays going! We hope to see many of those creators participate in the event!

There is no animosity towards those who write or consume cloneshipping/cloncest. Apologies if it seems that way.

When we reached out for mods there was no mod willing to take up the mantle to do clone x clone material. As it is a sensitive topic, much like NSFW, it requires extra care to make sure that it is properly tagged and warned on the event page reblogs. Because of this it was left out.

As per your assumption on the pairings, you are mistaken. There are pairings and ships of many different sexualities and genders and this event is absolutely not limited to heterosexual pairings. In fact we encourage a wider variety of pairings, and hope to also see them along with many platonic fics and art.
