“you’re not a demon though, are you?” there was curiosity in his dark eyes for the boy. he looked ordinary. taewon would’ve thought of him as your average joe. but apparently there was nothing normal about him. the frown tugging at his brow relaxed as he shook his head. “nah, you’re too small, and sorta cute, to be a vicious demon... then again, last month i saw a demon who looked like an adorable corgi. ate human livers straight outta them! like sucking on a straw. it was wild. i even called him a good boy before i knew. most traumatic experience of my life. more than dying.” he clicked his tongue and crossed his arms. he glanced down at him suspiciously again. “you could be a little corgi demon.”  

“You want one?” She holds up one of the three boiled eggs, covered with flakes of salt and pepper, in front of Tida’s face. “I got it from the Bird Man.” And who is the Bird Man, one might ask? Only one library patron who is usually accompanied by one barred parakeet. Mana is also positive that the man lives part-time in the woods.

someone  — or dare he say, something,  — has been resurrected by a god. their shoulders check, and the impulse of magic from a pantheon that is not his own causes thanatos to double over, briefly, and he turns over his shoulder, blinking behind his sunglasses. ‘ excuse me !  ’ death huffs, irritated, and dusts off his suit. ‘ watch where you’re going ! ’ ( he barely has time to react before the butterflies begin following the man, and thanatos sighs. whatever this was going to be, it was going to be too much. that’s for sure. )

Their relationship is very complex. Magda has always looked up to Boryslaw as a power figure, someone who can give orders and can not receive 'no'. Dare I say Magda even loved him until early teens, a blind unconditional child's love for one's parent ( does not relate to her mother jhfnb), but after puberty and her powers manifesting and Magda slowly realizing she is stronger in nature than him, the love turned into like / hate respectively. She still listens to every word and every command Borys gives, though questioning his status (which would never happen before). She has thought about killing him, but she is not that brave, even though Borys does not have any powers - she still sees him as a God. (she'll kill him later in life KAJSDHFVG )

that’s literally it. (1) chair in (1) corner + bookshelves near by ( they probably have poetry books ) . also the water fountain/bathroom is maybe a corridor or two away for their convenience. they have to share the chair also bc mana doesn’t feel like dragging another one over.
