A flier I designed for my specifically assigned project, to promote the Youth Empowerment Week. Im very greatful of the WPCA fo also counting this volunteer time as an internship, and putting my illustration skills to use.  I’m currently working on a second flier.

The first time I went to the WPCA building to meet with Cyndi, one of the full time staff at the establishment, and also a formar attendee of the WPCA. She showed me around the building and acquainted me with the other full time staff and the other volunteers and interns on staff. She showed me the gallery room, the space open for local artists to book and give demonstrations and or classes. And explained that their sponsors have a place up front of the building for their selfportraitmen and acknowledgements, this is where the WPCA gets some of its funding from. There is a lot of space dedicated to the act of teaching others about art and tons of random art supplies donated.  I felt instantly welcomed and invented in they are always willing to include everyone in their conversations and value everyone involved opinion.
