Out of 5 IVs I had, the one in this spot was the 4th and most important IV of them all. I did the best I could to keep this IV good because the new IV tubing that comes with the new pumps the hospital has and this one has been almost pulled out of my neck on many occasions and as you can see... EJs are the hardest to heal from because the vein is swollen and hard and it's sensitive to the touch. But at the end of the day, it's another #BattleScar that I've earned because I'm always fighting for my life and continuing to live for my fallen brothers/sisters and fellow #SickleCellWarriors. #BattleTested #WoundsOfWar
