The Beginning of my 21 Day Journey
Once upon a time there was a girl with a dream... a dream to one day work on a plane in the United States Air Force. Some days that is all she would think about..flying in planes all around the world, a chance to see the world in a view that most people wouldn't. But her mother said girls shouldn't go in. She prepared secretly in high school by studying military entrance exam books and sneaking into 7th period auto tech when she was supposed to be taking withdrawl papers to the teachers.
And then she was forced to go to college. She did ROTC in college, and then got back out before she commissioned because she believed her mother's words of discouragement.
Then she moved colleges, and gained weight to the highest she has ever been in her life: 190 pounds. It killed her. She spent hours and hours turning to the only comfort shed ever known: food. $80 dollars worth every single week on her borrowed loan money which she now has to pay back with her meager paychecks.
And she decided on October 1st, 2013 that she was going to go into the military, but she had to lose the weight to get there. It wasn't going to be easy, but she didn't want to spend her life miserable doing what she didn't want to do. Over the next year she lost 45 pounds. Since then, she's been stuck. So she is doing the 21 day fix again, hopefully successful this time, to lose those last ten pounds. Help follow and keep her accountable as she battles her old nemesis: food, and continues on a path to something great!
