We all have our pandemic cycles. I'm in the part where I take assets from #WormsArmageddon and convert them for use in #WormsTheDirectorsCut. Currently it's speechbanks. • For those wondering, I'm converting the WAV files to IFF files using an MS-DOS based convert tool that I found on - haha! - the CD for #WormsUnited. I run that in DOSBox, then I go through and rename the files. WA uses more samples than WormsDC, but thanks to the modular way speechbanks work in WormsDC I'm able to repurpose some of them. • I then test the speechbank thoroughly on an emulated Amiga before transferring them to my physical A1200 using Amiga Explorer and a serial cable.
