MMM. I mean..sorta?? He named fork Kurt because it seemed close to “Cute” which.. baby fork was very cute! So thats not really a, very, you know……. Deeply thought out name. ALSO …There IS a story behind how he first adopted the name Knife!! but I suppose I can save that for another time. the name agent spoon just came naturally ‘cuz … he was now named agent Knife! but he also used a spoon in combat so he pretended it was his best pal agent sidekick partner lol… wtf knife……. also, it felt wrong and weird to hold onto the name Perkons after he killed his family.. it just gave him bad/guilty feelings after all that. besides, he never was super attached to it. not that he disliked it.. Knife just mostly doesnt care about names in general honestly, they dont feel that important to him. Hats on the other hand? Important.Anyway– Its likely Barfy’s name will end up something about how Barfy’s personalty comes across to Knife then probably.. warped into something of a name. or maybe this time Knife will google babywormnames.com on his phone and figure out something for his new kid.
Jacket was trained as a bodyguard for King, right? Or was that another experiment other than Clappy?
Jacket (Although his name from dylan was “bitey”), Puppy (aka Pluto the minotaur), Ducky (the bird looking one), Clappy were all the trained bodyguards. (and ofc Aeschylus was also basically the #1 bodyguard, but he wasnt an experiment obviously. ) Clappy was considered the best bodyguard out of the experiments as clappy was quite obedient/good at taking orders, generally non violent and kept their hands to themselves. (usually by clapping.) So dylan favored them. Bitey/Jacket was considered the most dangerous as he was the smartest as well as the most.. desperate for affection? A Bad combo. Dylan often considered euthanizing him b/c he was probably too much trouble to handle.Licky, Barfy and Sneezy were other experiments but had diff functions/purposes. (Sneezy was sorta considered a failure experiment, how mean.. :( )
Poor Jacket.. The tears just.. got me more than I thought they would and I think my heart just broke. I need a minute. All these poor worm babies need to be protected and cherished. :'(
Worms are generally very sensitive, emotional creatures that want to love! And even under the right care they can actually be quite obedient and loyal to species other than just worms. Its pretty foolish to be mean to them tbh. Jacket might love to torture his prey but at the same time he is no real exception to typical worm behavior. He actually started out as somewhat of a shy, nervous worm! believe it or not. And then grew to be very confident and prideful of his body.. of course his pride has just suffered uh…a pretty devastating blow LOL

Guh I can't wait to find out more about Jacket, I just love him and how messed up he is! His design is also super great and unique, all of your designs are but idk I just like Jacket a lot I think :P I'm also glad we get to see how friggin HUGE he is, like hot damn boy.
TBH i think jacket is personally one of the best designs ive made. So I’m very glad you’re excited about him! He is certainly a very fun character and I’m happy to get to include him in the story. Rome does not share my enthusiasm, however.. And yeah he’s a tall worm!!!!!!!
