Bree has been a part of the CTWC community for years, and is one of our favorite returning guests! She'll be joining us with a LIVE episode of her long-running podcast Hex Positive, book recs, and a spicy Cauldron Talk about the importance of doing our own work as witches 🖤

@breelandwalker grew up in the wilds of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and now resides in Tidewater, VA. She is the host of the Hex Positive podcast and her breakout work, Grovedaughter Witchery, has been hailed by the online pagan community as a new standard text for beginner witches. She lives with her husband and two very spoiled ginger cats, and is very glad that none of them seem to mind having a pagan altar in the living room.

Benjamin Stimpson (He/They/Them) (BA, MBACP) is an award-winning UK based writer, independent researcher, podcaster, and public speaker on folk practice, occultism, medieval history, and British folklore. Ben holds a BA (Hons) minoring in Classical, Medieval and Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo as well as a Diploma in Spiritual Psychotherapy. His research focusses on medieval and early modern folk practice, the folklore and history of magic and witchcraft, and applied modern spiritual practice. He is the author of Ancestral Whispers: A Guide to Developing Ancestral Veneration Practices (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2023), winner of a 2024 Gold Medal COVR Award. He is currently working on projects set to debut through The History Press in 2025. An acclaimed public speaker, Benjamin has been a guest on over a hundred podcasts and been invited to speak at festivals and conferences in North America and Europe.

Critical Thinking Witch Con 2025

~ Sept 26th - 28th ~ A Virtual Convention Ysha the Activist Witch joins us for a fantastic panel on activism and witchcraft! Ysha (she/they) aka Activist Witch, is a Fat Queer Non-binary Autistic Immigrant Witch of Colour of Egyptian heritage, raised in Italy and now living in South Wales, UK. They have been making educational video essays on all matters of intersectionality since 2021 and most recently on YouTube as Activist Witch where they explore the intersections between Activism and Witchcraft as a tool of rebellion against the system. In their day life they are the intersectionality educator at Glitter Cymru, the grassroot organisation by and for queer people of colour in Wales and chair of Glitter Sibling, the Glitter branch dedicated to marginalised genders.

Some topics we have tentatively mapped out are: - Cauldron Talks: Shifting One's Perspective (that can mean a lot of things!) - Cauldron Talks: Power of Perception (so many ways to take that!) - The Scientific Method and Building a Craft - Panel: Building Visible Communities - Mundane Magic / The Magic of Understanding the Mundane / Mindfulness - Shadow Work and Perception - Crafting in the Craft Workshops - art! - Movement Sessions: led stretching, warm ups, or group dance - Expressing Magic: Art as a Craft & more!
