As the country's premier diplomat, Sec. Locsin is the face of the Philippines on the global stage as he represents and symbolizes our values and beliefs as a nation. As defined by Dictionary.com, a diplomat is
a person appointed by a national government to conduct official negotiations and maintain political, economic, and social relations with another country or countries.
a person who is tactful and skillful in managing delicate situations, handling people, etc.

Here are my thoughts on the matter.
What is or are your reaction/s to the above?
I am fairly new to the world of dev and diplomacy, although my major of course looks at realities, we do so from a certain lens and sometimes we as designers are prone to focusing on the craft sometimes more than the realties around us—that should not be the case and that’s also why I am taking a minor in Dev. First of all the fact that he uses Twitter as his main channel of communication to the public is questionable. Social media is not a bad channel, it’s just for someone in his position, Twitter should just be a touchpoint of his role as ambassador, unlike any other Twitter account where one can freely just Tweet whatever they want to say.
