I can see Aven liking D&D for sure. He'd also like board games and video games as well. Edda's not into that stuff as much as him, but she's more than happy to play with him.

Aven really likes fantasy, science fiction, and nonfiction books. Edda prefers nonfiction.

As for some trivia...

Aven is diagnosed with ASD. He came from a modest father (Demon) who loved him greatly.

Edda was... neglected as a child, and eventually taken away from her biological parents. She spent the other half of her life with Angel, her grandmother, being emotionally void and scarred.

The two met in college in their English classes. They really started getting closer with co-ed dorm rooms, before moving into their apartment.

Aven is Aroace, Edda is Aromantic

Aven wears glasses!

Edda is very touch-starved, but she struggles to ask for hugs and cuddles.

Edda is also very busy due to her being a lawyer.

Aven is also a writer! He's trying to write a fantasy novel.

When given the chance, they LOVE cuddling in bed.

Also Demon is an anxious father who calls his son everyday. Very wholesome dude.

Duality: Canon Divergence/ Retelling. A retelling of Worldless based on my headcanons. Currently the only fic that's available.

Echo: Post Canon, Fantasy, and partially an Original Work. Follows the story of Evelyn and Adrian, two siblings who become the Vassals of the spirits of Edda and Aven, and have to prevent a reset of the world.

Binary: Modern, Post-College AU. A more of a romantic take on the duo. Edda and Aven are college graduates living in their apartment, bonding and trying to sort out trauma.

Tarnished Stars: An Elden Ring/ Worldless crossover. After failing to defeat the Ones Above, Edda and Aven perish, and are sent plummeting down into the Lands Between. They awaken as humans, Tarnished, to be more specific. Revived by the Greater Will, they are given another chance: to seek the Elden Ring. (Essentially the plot of Elden Ring, but Edda and Aven are the protagonists).

Inverted: Canon Divergent AU. In the beginning cutscene, instead of unifying, Aven successfully swaps polarities with Edda, leaving him as a Lightfolk and her as a Darkfolk. Edda is filled with Darkfolk Angst™️ and wants revenge on Aven, meanwhile Aven is an anxious wreck running and fearing for his life.

The Stars Lent a Hand: Breath of the Wild/ Worldless crossover. On his quest to defeat Calamity Ganon and regain his memories, he is joined by Edda and Aven, who were cast into Hyrule after defeating TOFA.

My Neighbor is a Sad God: Post Canon. Edda perishes in the TOFA fight and Aven is unable to revive her. Now the new creator god, he goes mad, going to extreme lengths to revive or replace his friend. His efforts lead him to Earth...

So... Binary AU, right? Thinking about it again.

I have two modern interpretations for canon characters to get placed into: intimidating and strict college professor (Edda's still in law school, that's why), and a zen old man who lives in the adjacent apartment.

Summum and Old One respectively.

It's a Modern Setting of Worldless, where Edda and Aven are a platonic couple living in an apartment in the city. Edda is a personal injury lawyer, while Aven is the head librarian at the city library.

Angst and fluff ensues!

Essentially, it follows Angel taking her grandchild Edda under her wing after she's been abused by her parents. Cue some nice hurt/comfort and Angel feeling partially responsible for what happened, and trying to make it up to her.

I'm calling it Guardian Angel.

Also a quick little titbit I made:

What's Binary! Summum like? (If he exists - I know you mentioned the possibility. Strict law teacher of Edda's?)

Yeah! He's a professor at Edda's Law School.

One day I will have the courage to tackle these...

Also does Aven help her with reaching things that are out of reach?
