my world history notes and art history notes are the only notes i’ve been rewriting. why am i sad that my other classes just give handouts and do discussions?
10.01.17 // finally, wifi at our new house! feels like i’ve waited a decade. how have you been doing?
another set of my history notes ⟡ i dont know if i should rewrite my notes with info from the books or just rewrite the ones i wrote based on the lecture. that’s why my notes looks kind of incomplete haha

rewritten notes // history of world civilization class
i tried to keep it little simple this time!
I’m trying really hard not to fall asleep in World Civ right now. Lectures are so out dated. The best way to teach is to keep your students engaged and contribute to the conversation. Oh well. I’m just going to keep reblogging cute robots and look into learning basic html coding on my own

It's the first time I'm learning about Marie Antoinette in such detail. Very interesting. #WorldCiv #historygeek #HomeworkTime
Ok, I need 9 possible challenges of Latvia. Go! #WorldCiv #HomeworkTime #ModernDeclarationOfIndependance
World Civ Thoughts
Studying for my Ancient World Civilizations midterm and I just thought this was really interesting..Paleolithic peoples who were the first peoples known to us (40,000 BC-10,000 BC) are thought of to have had sexual equality. The men were hunters and the women were gatherers and both were equally important responsibilities for that time. They both depended on each other and respected what one another provided and so there was sexual equality. At what point in history did women become unequal? When was the moment that men thought of women as being less than them? If both genders started off equal in 40,000 BC and then grew to be unequal and then more towards equal again.. I mean maybe the paleolithic people were more developed humans than we give them credit for. Because we're right back where we started from
Just something that got me thinking
