This is an Australian HX series Holden Sandman panen van, often refered to as a Sin Bin or Shagging Wagon. They were popular with youngsters during the 1970s who turned them into mobile bedrooms. This is artwork I did for the owner of one such vehicle which has custom Premier headlights fitted. They were available with a six cylinder engine but were most commonly found with the Australian-made V8 engine in either 4.2 or 5.0 litre capacities. Organized Storage Layouts for Commercial Vans
Discover van shelving layouts designed for electricians, plumbers, and HVAC contractors to improve organization
Work vans run smoother when the storage setup matches the trade using it. Electricians need bins, drawers, and small compartments for parts like connectors, breakers, testers, and hand tools.
Plumbers usually need a tougher mix of open shelving, secure storage, and space for heavier tools, fittings, sealants, valves, and pipe sections. HVAC vans tend to need more flexible layouts because the work can involve diagnostic tools, replacement parts, and bulkier equipment.
The post also points out that shelving works best when it fits the daily routine. Frequently used tools should be easy to reach, while modular storage can help the van adapt as the business grows or services change.
