Today has not been the best day. I should start out by saying I'm not ill, I own my home and I have savings. But at the close of work tonight I discovered that my farm park is shutting down due to the pandemic. I now have to rely on these 'unprecedented' measures set out by the UK government to pay 80% of staff wages. Am I worried? Of course. We're in a time where things are changing daily and where nothing is guaranteed. Life is going to look a lot different in the post-Covid world (hopefully for the better). The silverlining that I'm try to cling to is that when work opens again, I will hopefully still have a job. And that, in the meantime, unless I'm ill, I can spend time on our own farm setting up the business for 2021 and carrying on the conservation efforts. So, here's me trying to be optimistic and find some positives. I need to write that down otherwise I might go mad. Peace, love and health everyone. . . . #smallholding #smallfarm #homestead #homesteading #brimwoodfarm #farming #farm #workisover https://www.instagram.com/p/B9-Y2DWANb-/?igshid=13c2e7zwg25er
