Algonquin has something for everyone.
I enjoy finding interesting and beautiful fungi. Lark enjoys finding fascinating holes to snoofle at. Fun for all!
This random little waterfall/stream combo is shaped like a chute. In other words.... perfect for Larkie to cool off in 😂
Skijoring!
We finally got a little snow. It was barely enough for the skis but we got out there to enjoy it before it melts away. Wish I had enough hands to hold the ski poles and take video. We both had great fun!
12.4 km (7.7miles)
Our personal best. Lark had good energy and a nice steady trot up until our last kilometre when she started to slow a bit. I’m very impressed with my good girl. 💕
(Video is from around kilometre 7)

Larkie doing her thing. 💕
5.2 km today. We had most of the route to ourselves, which is so nice. Wish I didn’t have to work today... but the mandatory overtime is paying for a fancy new kicksled!
Waiting patiently to start.
Nice and easy 2km today after yesterday’s epic haul. Lark was game for a longer run, but I don’t want to overdo it too soon.
Amazing distance for us today! 9kms of tough pulling for Lark. Got a new chest harness camera mount coming in the mail so I can get some action shots of my beautiful girl at work.
It was a toss up choosing between the skis or the bike. Glad I went with the bike. The trails and pathways were pretty icy and rough and would have destroyed my ski bottoms. It was bumpy and slippery with the bike (and I thought I might die when she really got going) but manageable.
Can’t wait for the really good snow (and my new kicksled) to get here. It’s gonna be a good winter!
