Hi there! I’m Sam and I travel  the US while teaching from the couch of my 5th wheel. I work with a company called VIPKid that allows me to work anywhere that has a stable internet connection. If you’ve wondered about ways to make money on the road, or maybe you’re wanting to bring in a little extra with a side-hustle, this could be for you. Having a job that isn’t location dependent and allows me to control my own hours is necessary for my lifestyle, and working with kids is something that I really enjoy. This job has enabled me to do something awesome, and I want it to be that for you too!

If you’ve heard of the company and thought about applying but you have some questions, let this be a resource for you. If you know that this is something you want to do, but you’re nervous about taking the plunge, I’ve been there and have your back. I had an awesome coach that gave me the resources and confidence to go for something that felt really intimidating and it was such a game changer for me. I want to make that happen for you because we’re better together and everyone deserves to feel like they can accomplish their monetary goals and have the freedom to live the life that they want.

This blog is intended to cover a lot of material, so while it might seem like a lot, it’s here to be a resource for you while you are moving through the decision making and application process. It’s more than giving you resources to get hired though, it’s also here for you to refer back to after you hired, because there’s a lot to learn and I want you to be successful. I was beyond stoked when I passed my mock on the first try and I owe that to an awesome coach, youtube, and a lot of research.

If you’re on board and want to start the application process I can walk you through it! It can be a lot to take in and getting hired is a heck of a lot easier when you have a referral. You do not pay for a referral, and if anyone is asking you for payment, run far away. Referral coaches are hired teachers that can help to guide you through the hiring process. Once hired, all teachers have a referral code that they can share, (mine is: SAMAN0396 ) but not all teachers choose to refer. In fact, through my first contract I didn't share my referral code at all, because I wanted to make sure that I could confidently walk someone through getting hired and a successful 1st contract. Referral coaches get paid through VIPKid (because they want awesome teachers like you). VIPKid has a pretty sweet referral program and coaches don’t get the dollar incentive until the newly hired teachers teach their first class. So, I’ve got your back through this whole thing.
