Work study update: Campus Donut Story.
Got into work, did about two hours, put a book back from the shelf where it was incorrectly stacked on top, during that stage of being on my feet, I did a sweep of trash, and helped someone with the guest computer. dealt with a large study group of about 5 or 7, as well as helped a fellow student in one of my previous required classes find work-study links.
Sat at my little desk, did some homework, made coffee, and heard a commotion and people coming and going from their seats. So I walk over to the group that had recently vacated, along with the same group of now 10? people.
Full trash bag full of donuts. Just... Dunkin Donut guy wanted to go home and study and did not want to deal with the trash load, left it where the group could reach. Life still goes on, even in the case of sugary chaos, as I am confronted with files for people to print while writing this blog post.
I am at the front of the library in a round desk area, where there is a beeping button to welcome people with keycards into the building. Three other work-study peers literally can see and hear everything unless I turn around or do my homework. I had to be the adult and grab wet wipes, but everyone and their patron was grabbing the free dessert.(including my co-workers and I)
What kind of Dungeons and dragons shenanaganary is happening at Full Sail University?
For context, this is a Dunkin' Donuts about a quarter of a mile from campus, across the street. This location closes its doors to the public at 6:30 pm sharp. I work until 9pm, or 5 on weekends.
