So, fun work story for y’all...I work at a supermarket and I’m not quite tall enough to reach the stuff on the top shelf sometimes. So I’ll end up grabbing on to the top shelf while putting one foot on the bottom shelf and the other foot on the bottom bar of a shopping cart and I’ll pull myself up so I can get what I need.
So today I’m doing that and I feel a hand on my ass, which causes me to almost lose my grip on the shelf. I turn and there’s this creepy dude-bro (you know the kind of guy I’m talking about here...the “can I get a hug” type dude) standing behind me with his hands on my ass! And it’s the same guy who has untied my apron once (the knot sat on the small of my back) AND pulled my hair another time. I blurt out a stern: “What are you doing?” And this dude goes (while patting my ass mind you), “You looked like you needed a hand. You have a great ass by the way, nice and firm. You must be pretty strong for a girl.”
So I looked at him and said: “While I appreciate the compliment, I DON’T appreciate getting sexually harassed and touched inappropriately at work. And I suggest you leave before I get my manager to throw you out again and/or have you arrested.” He pulled the whole: “Whoa hey you don’t have to go and do that, I was only trying to help you.” Bullshit but left immediately after.
I swear to god this dude better pray I never see him out in public because I’ll literally deck him in the face and kick him in the dick with no hesitation.
Some of you have never been yelled at while working in the customer service industry, and honestly it shows.
