Look, if you want me to take the lead in a project, then you have 2 options.
1) Trust me to have full control to do it my way. I accept feedback, but I'm running the show now.
2) Give me explicit directions, instructions, guidelines to ensure your vision is produced your way with my labor.
That's it. I don't function under micromanagement or constantly being undermined along the way. I direct my team once you give me a team. Otherwise, you are going to have to take back the reins. Frustration, countermeasures, decisions made without consulting the team lead, all of these things will guarantee failure or severely hinder the work process.
