The show I work on got its notice today, we're finishing in April!
Hopefully I won't be out of work too long...but hey, will have loads of time to respond to my growing pile of prompts xD
Sometimes it's really hard to separate work and home life, especially because my work is at a queer resource center. It's hard because there are people I meet at work who are very cool and I want to have be my friends, but I don't know how to transition them into being that for me. It's hard because there people who want to be my friends who I do NOT want being my friends which is why getting access to my tumblr takes some doing. And then there are the moments where you get a call from a friend and you have to stop yourself from going into work mode and just hold them and not offer solutions.

So I work at a LGBTQ center and today we had an event where we were tabling. I notice a really cute person with excellent lipstick on and I really want to compliment them. They walk right up to me and go “oh hey, I want to say I love your lipstick!” and I was all “I was about to tell you the same thing! Where did you get it?”
We chit chat for awhile and they give me the name of the lipstick company and I tell them all about my workplace. At the end I ask if they has any questions and they go “nope, I think I have everything.”
And it took everything not to say “no, you don’t have my number” because I was at work.
Helped move around furniture today at work. For about an hour. Oh god my joints hurt. :(
