Despite it still being summer, we have fall and Christmas items out.
A customer came up to me with our limited Halloween Floral stems and chatted up how she enjoyed the decorations and literally thought I was bored by all of it when I'm smiling and conversing as much as I can to show that I'm actually invested.
Like lady you have no idea how much I enjoy Halloween decor and literally can't wait for stores to start selling them (and for the rest of our Halloween items in our store that wont come in till September)
I just cant go into depths as I'm sure I'll scare off the customers and would probably place me in a witch hunt in a "Christian store"
Work Stuff... Again
- I walked into the stock room one day to see my coworker Joe launching llamas at my coworker Linn. Like those weird blankets that have an animal head on them. They were llamas. And there were stuffed llamas.
So.
Many.
Llamas.
- before climbing down from a ladder I looked back at the manager who was watching and with a completely straight face was like “WOW I CAN SEE FOR AISLES FROM UP HERE!” She looked as though she regretted getting up that morning.
- haven’t done this one yet, but every day have to fight the urge to burst into the break room like WADDUP NERDS, YOUR SARCASTIC RAY OF SUNSHINE HAS ARRIVED somehow I don’t think this would go over so well.

So apparently the manager is going to be doing the scheduling again starting on Tuesday... Anyone wanna take bets as to how long it lasts this time?
