I did something irresponsible at work, there was a difficult client who was playing dumb and didnt want me so I didnt do the thing, cause I required his cooperation to do it (he had to pay a thing online to the government to fix his issue) but on the 30 since he was denying the debts and shit and wanted my workmate to work with him instead it didnt work and I didnt know what to do about it on the 31st so didnt call him again.
Now on monday my coworker who gave me that particular job will come back and I mean, I got paid but didnt fulfill the thing due to a difficult client. I should have called him again on the 31st but I didnt. That is on me. And my coworker will no doubt tell me, he even left me on seen. Not only that but I press pay on one thing of the man before the fall out so it may be a couple of days/weeks before he can do another payment plan since that one wasnt fulfilled.
I'm in trouble. The job still needs to be done. The client is a bitch who wanted my workmate and not me cause I told him he had more debt than he thought. My coworker gave ME the job to do it while he was on vacation and I GOT PAID.
I'm very anxious about it I'm never irresponsible about work. And now I crossed the coworker that like the most and gives me more work. I also didn't dare send a happy new year text since he left me on seen about the work thing and I'm sure it was my turn cause he sent me a Christmas one last week
I'm also nervous about this cause there is a possible new kid coming who our boss knows since he was a kid and could easily replace me after this fuck up, and there is not enough work for both of us.
I mean, maybe everything will be fine come monday, but probably not, how will I deal with client, my coworker cant be my intermediate on a job he gave me that he didnt get paid for, and it's all my fault and I'm never irresponsible like this so idk what to do. And even if everything is fine I will surely get a scolding from my coworker and what can I say, deserve.
