Petal III — The Woman on the Screen
Some betrayals don’t hide—they pose for pictures. I saw her call him “mine.” I saw his comments. I heard his silence. He called her “just a friend.” Funny how “just a friend” sounds like “just not you.”

When I was eight and ignorant, I'll just play the whole day, or cry over silly matters or hide inside my room if the food in the table isn't delicious for me. Even if those will only make me sick, even if those will only make my young heart ache. When I was nineteen and naive, I only need to write. Randomly. Wholeheartedly. Even if the endings don't rhyme, even if the verbs do not coincide with the subject, even if the grammar nazis will bleed reading the writings. When I was twenty three, inlove or heartbroken, I end the night in the morning. Drinking, smoking, thinking, bleeding. Even if it will cause me headache, even if it will ruin my next-day plans, even if it will take my saved money away. Today I'm twenty five, it isn't my birthday tho, but today I'm twenty five, perhaps experiencing quarter life crisis, or in a quandary of whether to keep going left or choosing to be right, or amidst self inflicted pains. But I am not making a move. Even if it means I will be stuck, even if it will lead me nowhere, even if it means I will be left behind. You see? The more and more we get to know what life is, we get to less and less know how to live it. The more that it teaches us meaning the more that it may seem meaningless. (Or is it only to me, because substance is something bigger than I am and that my futile mind couldn't grasp?) #Randoms #Writings #writingsandotherrazors #wordsthatcut
You were wrong. Her tears, too, sometimes fall. Out of happiness, of brokenness, or of pity. Her tears fall through the scrambled ABCs put together to create a metaphorical story. It is in a different form maybe, but she cries nontheless. She cries through words. And she cries a lot. - Lame #WordsThatCut #Writings #Randoms [I hope you forgive me every time I bleed senselessly] Photo credits to Monster (at Mary Chiles General Hospital)
It has long been over. Years had ran so fast but sweetheart, memories of how I miss you everytime then, that's totally different from all else. I dont miss you anymore, I just miss the memory of missing you. I hope we have not forgotten each other as we became busier each. But reality is otherwise. #2014writings #WordsThatCut ThatCut #PoeticLoveRant
Fourteenth December. Ngunit alam natin pareho na walang sinuman ang may kakayahang pigilan ang pagbuhos ng ulan. [excerpt from Maybe It Will Always Hurt] #WordsThatCut #Writings #GOODNIGHT =)

4th December. #DraftBoxMessages #UnsentLetters #WordsThatCut
Goodbye December Second. Hello December Third. =) #Randoms #WordsThatCut
Do you still remember how we spend some nights before with words flooding our inboxes, as if our senseless stories about random people, ideas, song lyrics, movie titles and places is a river that never runs dry? Do you still remember? Three hundred eighty something days ago, we sleep at 3AM, sometimes 4 or 5 because you're hurting and I am so bored, we stayed connected over the phone? Do you still remember those times? Do not force yourself to even think about it. =) We both know that it is understandable that we don't remember things which never really mattered. But yes, we used to talk a lot and then days passed by, you healed, I'm healing and our inboxes turned to a blank book from a single page populated with words. And for the first time, I want to thank the creator of emojis. Atleast I've known you are all fine now. And that's what really matters. Goodnight. 😘 #Randoms #Writings #WordsThatCut (at Sm Moa, By The Bay)
