Answer to Reply on 4 Things I Wish I Knew Before Creating a Blog on WordPress
As mentioned in this post, Iāve been really busy lately, so I ended up going on a pretty long hiatus from Tumblr. Iām now trying to be more active here again.Ā
Since Iāve been away for a while, it was only recently that I was able to check the Activity page of this blog. Apart from the likes, reblogs, and follows (thank you very much for all of those :-)), I also saw that I got some notes that could use a response.Ā
This is one of those. I got this reply from @cinnamoncoffeelife on the post entitled 4 Things I Wish I Knew Before Creating a Blog on WordPress. Ā Ā Ā
I also got an email from Tumblr about this:
Yes, thatās another thing I dislike about WordPress. This is why I usually add images via their URL, so I wouldnāt have to upload anything and use up what little storage space I have.
It is too bad that itās so popular. Its interface may look nicer when compared to Bloggerās, but Blogger still ends up being better in terms of what you can do with it such as being able to edit your theme.
Plus, If Iām remembering correctly, even the paid version of WordPress has a number of limitations.Ā Ā
And, speaking of Google Blogger, I found out that you can have unlimited storage when it comes to images if you set the quality of your uploaded pics to High Quality as opposed to Original Quality. You can find out more about this here.Ā Ā
