          HOME   WAS   SUCH   A   FOREIGN   CONCEPT   TO   PETER   .       for the first decade of his life, home was a small green & blue planet filled with naught but joy, but love, but happiness. when that was RIPPED from him, when he was stolen away and forced to live among those who did not care about him, home was a metal ship that was given to him when he was twelve. it was the vast VOID of the universe, the stars, the dust, the planets, and the people that lived among them. home was never an actual place for peter, and now? now home was two arms, a heartbeat, endless blue eyes with just a hint of green in them.

       ❛  c’mon man, i’m supposed to be the romantic one.  ❜ was that a grin growing, unbidden, across his face? he couldn’t help it, the RADIANCE his happiness wrought unbound and untamed. he couldn’t help the way his HEART rate picked up, swollen in an emotion he didn’t know he had been searching for all his life. love. belonging. he had spent so much of his life running away from earth, from a place that had caused him SO MUCH pain. how ironic, that it was also the place that would give him his peace, that would give him exactly what he needed, what he had spent his WHOLE life chasing.
