I accidentally put my spouse's favourite wool beanie through the dryer. I'm not sure if it shrunk, but it is super fuzzy and pilled. I'm hoping that I can rescue it by soaking it, letting it air dry, then using a razor to de-pill it. Anything else I can/should do?? They know it happened and told me that it's okay, it's just a hat but they wear it almost every day and I feel terrible
