Ghosts Season 5 Predictions
⢠The Ghost Fam uses Patience's knowledge in demonology to remove Jay from Elias's deal

Okay so Hetty said that David was her great great great grandson so Thomas (or potential other son) went on to have children after Alberta's murder. But also Hetty introduced herself as Sophie's great great grandmother? I guess it's possible that David's father was out of the picture and his name was omitted, which would have been very gasp-worthy in the 70s.
However David said his "folks" were out of the country. So was this like the situation between Hetty and Elias?
But David was Sam's uncle and Hetty is Sam's great something aunt on Sam's mom's side.
If Sam was descended from Hetty's sibling or sibling in-law that would make Hetty her aunt and David her cousin.How does this family tree work?
Season Finale: Who Got âSucked Offâ?
Wow, what an ending. But the big question remains. Which ghost got âsucked offâ? (Moved on to heaven)
Thereâs already a LOT of speculation as to who they may be. So Iâm going to go over them, along with what I believe might happen in season 3.
Nigel
People are saying now that Isaac and Nigel are engaged, it made Nigel so happy it caused him to move on. (Which I will boycott the fuckin show if thatâs the case) But I donât believe that to be the truth. Not with the rules the show has already set up with how a ghost gets âsucked offâ. And for that, we have to go all the way back to the first season.
How A Ghost Gets âSucked Offâ
In season 1 episode 11 âSamâs Momâ, we meet Samâs mother Sheryl who became a ghost at a restaurant after having an allergic reaction to shrimp.
At the end of the episode, sheâs able to move on to heaven after having a real heart to heart with Sam, telling her how proud of her sheâs always been and has just wanted the best for her. And almost immediately she gets âsucked offâ.
Now, back to Nigel.
People are saying âWell now that Nigel is engaged, heâd be so happy, this would have caused him to move on, right?â But the answer is no. Not with how the logic of getting âsucked offâ is already put in place. Hetty even mentions this logic in the third episode of the series. She says and I quote, âSometimes very rare occasions, when a ghost is able to resolve a long-standing issue, the heavens open up and whoosh, they get sucked off.â
This is exactly what happened with Samâs mother. She was able to resolve her issues with her daughter, making her âunfinished businessâ finished. What issues did Nigel put to rest? There wasnât any. Now, you could say the âissueâ was him and Isaac not taking the next step in moving in together. But if that was the case, wouldnât after Isaac proposed and said they could move in together would this have happened? Wouldnât he have immediately been âsucked offâ? But it didnât happen. So it COULDNâT have been Nigel. So who was it? Who got âsucked offâ?
Season 3 Predictions
Who I believe might have been the one who got âsucked offâ.
I think itâll be Nancy. And thereâs a few reasons as to why I believe itâll be her:
She had been more prominent in season 2 than sheâs been in season 1. (And yes I know the same goes for Nigel but just hear me out)
She had been in the last three episodes of season two.
She has been shown to be more interactive with the other ghosts during their daily activities.
I feel like this season has been setting up for her departure from Woodstone. Even in her debut episode back in season 1, she explains to the other cholera ghosts that she âwants a better afterlife than thisâ. How she didnât want to just stand around all day in the basement and do nothing. She wanted to feel a part of something. To be part of a group that feels like a family and something meaningful. And lately, the other ghosts have seemed to have accepted her to just be around too. They donât seem to have a problem with her anymore. (Well except for Hetty of course) So with the feeling of being unwanted and not accepted gone, Nancy has finally made peace and when she realizes this, sheâs able to move on.
Final Thoughts
Phew, so thatâs what I believe might happen in the beginning of season 3. But for now, I guess weâll just have to wait until the fall to see for sure.

Destruction of the Mana Stones.

This is what's known locally as a woodstone. It's a type of limestone concretion that usually has a piece of fossilised wood running through the middle of it and often also contains ammonites. I split this one in half revealing the internal detail of the wood and some small Promicroceras ammonites. Fossil wood is pretty common in the rocks along the Jurassic Coast of Dorset, but most is very unstable and falls to pieces when it dries out due to shrinkage. The wood inside woodstones however is usually very stable and well lithified (turned into rock).
