It’s a beauty, don’t ya think? I picked it out meself, even paid for it like an honest gent! I just hope she’s gonna like it… It’s a bit odd, isn’t it? A bloke like me findin’ such a sweet and perfect girl and actually settlin’ down and really and truly makin’ her mine. That kinda thing usually only happens ta normal folks! All that lovey-dovey shit never even crossed me mind for as long as I can remember, but now I don’t think I could go on fightin’ without my Ruby lovin’ me. I just hope everything goes right when I finally pop the question. 

I mean, I know that it’s all gonna be fine, but every time I think about finally askin’ her, I get this weird nasty feelin’ that almost feels like someone squeezin’ me guts or somethin’. Shit shit shit, there it is again!! God, that feeling’s the worst! I don’t even know what’s makin’ me feel like that, of course she’s gonna say yes roight away, everything’ll go just fine!
