anyway alaska LOVES her parents despite their craziness even if they probably want to kill her 99% of the time, she still has mad love for those two old folks

alaska has always been a socialite even in her younger years, she surrounded herself with people and parties and going out and meeting boys despite her parents restrictions on who she hung out with, she always found a loophole or a way around their rules

her parents were never aware of her conniving ways until they found her alcohol stash hidden underneath her bed and, well, they sent her to church camp for the entire summer of her junior year in high school

needless to say, alaska is a huge partier and likes to go out and have fun and drink and meet boys and do drugs and is honestly every parents nightmare especially her father who is the leader of their church

and the reason she’s here is bc she was fucking a guy behind her dad’s church and got caught and yeah..... it didn’t go over well

she’s always felt the pressure that her parents weighed down on her: her grades, getting into a college, dating the perfect boy, being the perfect daughter, etc. honestly it was just too much for her because she never felt?? good?/ enough?/ and it was lowkey kind of painful bc she knew that she highkey disappointed the HELL out of them but she just couldn’t be the kid they wanted ya kno?? it wasn’t in her Nature

personality wise,,, alaska is a complete smartass and genuinely takes nothing seriously

if anyone confronts her with something serious or of importance she’ll just make a complete joke out of it bc she’s reeeeeally uncomfortable with emotions in general and rather pretend she has none

my headcanon for her is that she takes seven years to text back and will definitely hit you with that ‘hey sorry i fell asleep lmao u wild wyd??’ 3 weeks after you text her about hanging out bc she is honestly just the WORST

little fun facts about her: she knows how to hot wire a car, she has five tattoos and would have gotten more but her dad threatened to kick her out if she got more lmaooo, she is allergic to commitment and she took self defense classes and carries around pepper spray

her family is fairly wealthy and since she’s the only child, she basically gets everything and anything she wants but she isn’t necessarily a spoiled brat or flaunts what she has, she just wears designer shit and stays chillin

MEET LARISA AVELINO!

She is known back home as the “run away”.

Even though her parents always gave her lots of attention, Larisa always felt trapped by the petulance her small town was full of. She regularly ran away, spending weeks travelling and then would come back, apologise, just to do it again in two weeks. 

What made her parents "flip" was when she took a gap year, travelling all around the world when she said she was going to college. They were never informed, and for them, it was the worst thing she had ever done. 

Since Larisa was pretty good at running away, they knew they couldn't just trap her home for the summer: they have to send her away. The camp is the only place she would be forced to stay in. 

Larisa loves the outdoors, spending hours outside just looking at the sky or swimming in a nearby lake. 

She is an airhead, so sometimes she will be so lost in her own little world she can come across as dense!

rough backstory

i have him a little less figured out,, compared to cleo but this is what i came up with

his mom died when he was in his early teens, police think it was a murder but nothing else is known

his dad was devastated after his wife’s death and detached himself emotionally from cas, so they slowly grew apart

his father never physically abused him (he still loved cas) but he became an alcoholic

“evil step-mother cliche”:

caspian’s dad remarried about a year or two ago to cas’s current step-mother, but she’s manipulative and p much made him fall for her by taking advantage of his vulnerable state

the reason why cas is in the camp is because his step-mother wanted him out of the house to get more attention from his father. neither he nor his father wanted this (he was in college at this point, was doing fairly well in school, never got into any sort of huge trouble in his life) but cas’s step-mother convinced/manipulated his father into sending him

although he’s a very friendly and kind-hearted person, he doesn’t like getting close to anyone romantically because he’s afraid they’ll die like his mother

he’s not a complete goody two shoes, he does occasionally like to drink/party

rough backstory

sO cleo is basically a stereotypical Teen Rebel™.  xe doesn't like authority figures, doesn't get along with her parents or teachers, and is constantly looking for trouble.

cleo’s parents were never married and always cheated on each other during xyr childhood. (this was the start of xyr growing hatred for them.) they constantly fought and never spent any time with cleo (or either of her two older brothers) as a child. therefore, they never really got a chance to forge a connection with xyr.

cleo also didn’t get along with xyr brothers, as they often teased and bullied xyr, making her life even worse. xyr brothers got into crime and eventually landed themselves into a gang. cleo, following in their footsteps, made friends with some “not so nice” people and spent xyr days getting into trouble in the neighborhood.

cleo basically raised xyrself

*cleo’s parents were also definitely not approving of them coming out as non-binary. they kept using female pronouns when addressing them, which also helped fuel cleo’s hatred for them.*

cleo's parents eventually “matured” i guess ?? and, although split up, began to care more about the well-being of their children. they were stricter with them, but at this point it was too late. one of cleo’s brothers was in jail for selling drugs and the other had moved out while still involved in a gang.

this made their parents extra hard on cleo, who had already grown up without having to abide by any rules. as you can probably assume, xe would not have it. in fact, this made cleo act up even more. xe spent days away from home without any contact, shoplifted, failed all their classes, and took drugs/alcohol.

the biggest thing with cleo basically is that they don’t like being controlled/feeling constricted, specifically by their parents/teachers/authority figures in general. xe values xyr freedom

cleo loves to anger xyr parents, and gets into trouble merely to spite them.

that’s basically their story i guess ? i know it’s really messy but i’ll eventually polish it up and turn it into a true bio so don’t judge me lol

born in new york city on februrary 14th, 1996.

her family practically reigned over the big apple. her father the chief of police, mother the assistant district attorney, aunts and uncles in all the high places.

due to this, she grew up completely sheltered. somewhat similar to repunzel in her tower.

she constantly had security around her, her friends’ families all had background checks before their first playdates, and absolutely NO significant others.

she is in love with the thought of the basic young adult life. things like drinking wine coolers before prom and having her first kiss in a stolen shopping cart absolutely fascinate her.

she’s been attending nyu under a very very close watch since she graduated high school. she’s majoring in nursing because it’s the perfect way to use her big heart. she made it to senior year without any slip ups, until her bodyguard caught her on a date.

she faced the ultimate wrath of her father for this. she knew she needed to get away and get away fast.

she graduated and was off to this quaint summer camp called the enclave the first day of summer. she hadn’t researched it before hand, but anything would be fine at this point. 

sera is my little baby and i love her so much and i’m so excited to start rping with her!! she’s had a bit of a rough life, but she still manages to put other people first and is a lil ray of sunshine.

she a v happy person in general, and can be a little oblivious at times

she has a brother, but both of her parents are out of the picture. her mom left the family not long after the kids were born, leaving the family to get along without her. all was well in the kastrati household, though, as their father was able to step up and really give sera and her brother a Good Life™.

since her father wasn’t in a very “booming” field career-wise, if you will, they struggled a bit with cash and lived in the poorer side of town. sera and her brother were always finding ways to earn money even at young ages so that they could help their father and do anything they could to ease their situation.

when her dad died from cancer when she was 15, it was hard blow to the kastrati children. they were sent to live with their aunt, who they weren’t even close with. she had never had children, and therefore didn’t have experience raising them. she was very strict and would rarely even let them hang out with friends.

the children hated every second of it and did little things to rebel against her. never anything too awful, but just enough to piss her off so they could have a laugh. they tried so many times to get away from her, but little did they know their aunt wanted them there. she liked the control she could have over them.

every summer, they returned to their aunt’s house from college, trapped in her grasp until they graduated and could get actual jobs and build up enough money to get out. it wasn’t until this summer that their aunt decided she had had enough and decided to send them to the enclave.

personality-wise she enjoys being around people (they make her feel less lonely after her mother’s abandonment, father’s death, and aunt’s cruelty) and has a v  warm personality. she’s v protective of her friends and is easily hurt. she’s also a bit of a people pleaser and just wants people to like her. she won’t do you any harm if you don’t do her any harm.

- cosetta adelaide salvo. - only child. - kleptomaniac - though she really isn’t that bad. - been arrested only once for stealing a pair of boots that were far too expensive, and that’s when her parents insisted she go to the enclave. - well, her mother insisted. her father walked out when she was eleven, and she never understood why. up until that point, she’d had a great relationship with her father, she loved him. after he left, she began to resent him.  - at age fourteen, her mother got remarried. it wasn’t love - it was money.  - cosetta hated her stepfather from the start, and she still does. he was the complete opposite of her actual father. he had money, he was too strict, he worked too often. he had a fucking maid. her mother and father always struggled a little with money, so she wasn’t surprised when she married this rich asshole, she was just upset.  - her teenage years is when the stealing started.  - really, rick, you’ve got the money to buy all of this nice stuff? well guess what, i can do you one better. i’ll steal it. fuck you.  - she had two best friends in high school, and they continued to talk after they went to different colleges.  - if she steals again, after this camp, her mother and stepfather are taking her out of school. what a punishment that will be.  - cosetta’s convinced that her mother had no intention of sending her to the enclave - it was all rick’s idea, and she hates the fact that her mother listens to that asshole. - she just really wishes her father would show up with someone explanation so good it would make her forget everything right there and forgive him, and it would all be okay.
