A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read:
My partner and I are both booksellers so I canāt keep count of how many books they want me to read but theyāve been pretty persistent when it comes to books by Chloe Delaume or Martin Winckler. Lately they also told me about that manga by Nekomaki about an old man and his cat, Iām pretty sure Iām gonna love it.
A book thatās been on your TBR forever and yet you still havenāt picked it up:
Circe by Madeline Miller. I know Iāll fall in love once again with her writing. I also know that it wonāt be as special as The Song of Achilles has been to me. So Iām waiting for the right occasion for me to read it.
A book in a series youāve started, but havenāt finished yet:
I own but still havenāt read the second novel of Six of Crows. Iāll probably read it this summer tho.
A classic youāve always liked the sound of, but never actually read:
Of Mice and Men.

Alice in Wonderland.

There are many. Gone Girl, Tales of the City, The Hauting of Hill House...I could go on. I did the opposite with Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro tho and I donāt regret it, I donāt know about the movie but the book is simply amazing.Ā
