♛: my “FOREVER” pairing

Hazel and Jean. As lovers in the AU with HazelBrompton, as adopted brother and sister in the Helifeels ‘verse, as newly discovered sweethaerts in the AU: Sleeper Agent ‘verse…they are one of those multi-AU pairings that will always be together somehow. To quote Jean in the AU: “If I hadn’t been abandoned, a lot of things wouldn’t have happened as they did but I would have find you and love you. This must happen in every reality.”

Probably an as-of-yet-unnamed AU with MarkedEternally. ::smushes them together::  It’s a more casual pairing but I adore the mun and muse.

Hah. If LoganProfessorofArt were ever to come back and the Helifeels Hazel was still single, sure.  (She does’t hate him really but there’s some hurt feelings there.)  Otherwise there’s not anyone who would come close to fitting that bill, honestly.

Time seemed to race on.  The apartment that Logan had been working so hard on was finally finished, and they were able to get everything out of her apartment first, with the help of their friends and coworkers.  Then came the cleaning out of his apartment, and the laughable puzzle of figuring out how to merge two lives' worth of furniture and belongings into one space.  The new place was gorgeous.  There would be plenty of room for them and their new addition when it arrived.  So the early fall was sent sorting and unpacking, Hazel finding that she truly hated having any cardboard in her decor.  It was all gone by mid-October.

Logan couldn't believe his ears. Daken...had a baby girl. And the kid didn't have the slightest idea what to do with her at first. Her mother...likely dead. Why the infant his son awkwardly clutched hadn't met the same fate confused him...until Daken told him her name.

Itsu.

Daken was a monster, but there were some things that even the monster had a weakness for.

I took the kid for a while, let her live at the mansion with me while Storm and Marie helped take care of her. He sent money and came by to visit every few months...and eventually, as the little girl grew, she recognized exactly who her real father was. She started looking forward to his visits, and Daken would reluctantly sit down and let her climb all over him, telling him random, bullshit stories about fairies and princesses.

I actually saw him smile a few times.

After that particular visit, he stopped at the door before leaving to let me know that if anything happened to her, he'd kill me and everyone I know...slowly and painfully. He gave her a little locket that had her name in Japanese engraved on it. Inside was a picture of her grandmother.

Little Itsu turned out to be a "normal" human. Daken was there through snippets of her life.

When she started walking.

When she started kindergarten.

When she graduated high school.

When she graduated from college...

But he stayed fairly distant when she met the man she later married and had a family with. From what I hear, she met with him once between the time of the birth of her last child and her death.

I think he stayed away because his own kid actually started to look older than him. The realization that she was wasting away and dying while he stayed young was too much. I could barely handle it.

When she died, at the ripe age of 81, I made sure to have all of the things that he'd given her packaged up and sent to him.
